Baked Toasted Ravioli

Baked Toasted Ravioli: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

I do not remember where I first came across toasted ravioli, but I do know that it was really good. So good that it made me look for a baked version so I could enjoy it at home.

Baked Toasted Ravioli: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

I have served these as meal with some additional sides and I have served these as a snack. I think it works better as a snack with some marinara sauce to dip them in. But whenever you serve them make sure to have some sauce to dip them in.

Baked Toasted Ravioli

Ingredients:

  • 20 ounces frozen cheese ravioli, thawed
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • cooking spray

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400º F. Place a cooling rack onto a baking sheet and lightly spray with cooking spray.
  2. In a small bowl lightly whisk together the eggs and milk.
  3. In a separate small bowl combine the bread crumbs and grated cheese.
  4. Dip each thawed ravioli into the egg mixtures, letting any excess drip off. Then place the ravioli into the bread crumb mixture and coat both sides well, pressing down to make sure it sticks and is well coated. Place ravioli on prepared cooling rack and baking sheet.
  5. Lightly spray the ravioli with cooking spray. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the ravioli is golden brown. Serve with a side of marinara sauce.
Enjoy!!!
