Sausage Hash Brown Balls

So what happens when you combine sausage, hash browns, cheese with some flour and little shortening? You get a delicious ball of flavor that you can pick up with your hands and eat.

When I remade these I thought I had the shredded hash browns, but realized it was the cubed kind. I used them anyways hoping it would still work. The cubed kind did work, but I would not recommend them. Some of the balls fell apart and did not stick together the best because of the cubes. Shredded is definitely the way to go.
