Sausage Hash Brown Balls
Ingredients:
- 1 pound hot roll sausage, uncooked
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 tablespoons shortening
- 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 15 ounces frozen shredded hash browns
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400º F.
- In the bowl of a stand mixer, add all of the ingredients.
- With the dough hook attached, mix all of the ingredients until well combined.
- Using a 1 tablespoon measure, scoop out mixture, roll into a ball and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until balls are browned.
