Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Pancakes with Peanut Butter Syrup: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

These pancakes are for those who love peanut butter. From the peanut butter in the pancakes to the peanut butter in the syrup, there is definitely not a lack of peanut butter flavor in these.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Pancakes with Peanut Butter Syrup

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 3 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup maple syrup

Directions:

  1. In a medium bowl combine the milk, eggs, vanilla and peanut butter until smooth.
  2. In a large bowl combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and baking soda.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix just until combined.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Preheat a griddle and spray with cooking spray.
  6. Pour 1/4 cups of the batter onto the griddle.
  7. Cook until pancakes are golden brown and batter begins to bubble. Flip pancakes and cook on other side until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes.
  8. In a small microwave safe bowl add the peanut butter and maple syrup.
  9. Microwave for 30 seconds and stir to combine.
  10. Serve peanut butter syrup over pancakes.
