Hot and Spicy Crock Pot Chili

Hot and Spicy Crock Pot Chili: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

My husband and I did not feel that this chili was overly spicy. We definitely tasted the spiciness of it, but it was not too overpowering. If you find that this chili is a bit spicy for you, try topping it with some shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream.

Hot and Spicy Crock Pot Chili

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons chipotle chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 15 ounces no salt added tomato sauce
  • 30 ounces low sodium chicken stock
  • 1- 14.5 ounce can fire roasted diced tomatoes
  • 2- 15.5 ounce low sodium kidney beans, rinsed and drained

  1. In a large skillet cook ground turkey until done. Drain and add to a crock pot.
