There is just something so good about a delicious burger. However for me it is never just a "plain" burger. I always like to try different flavors and ways to "doctor" it up.
This burger incorporates my love of tacos, because it has all the components of a taco. You have the seasoning, the cheese, the lettuce, the tomato, the salsa, the sour cream and even some crushed corn chips for the shell part.
This delicious taco burger will definitely be added to my growing list of burgers that I love and will make again.
1 pound ground turkey
1 package taco seasoning
2 tablespoons grated onion
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup crushed corn chips
4 slices cheddar jack cheese
4 hamburger buns
light sour cream
In a medium bowl combine the ground turkey, taco seasoning, grated onion, Worcestershire sauce and black pepper. Add in the crushed corn chips and lightly combine. Shape the mixture into 4 equal patties and cook your desired way.
Once the patties are done top them with a slice of cheese and cook just until the cheese is melted. Place the burger on the bottom half of the bun and top with lettuce and tomato. Spread some sour cream and salsa on the top half of the bun and place on the burger.
