Peanut Butter Ice Cream with Peanut Butter Swirl

This ice cream is full of peanut butter goodness. Peanut butter ice cream with a delicious peanut butter swirl. A must make for any peanut butter lover.

Peanut Butter Ice Cream with Peanut Butter Swirl


Peanut Butter Ice Cream

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 cups half and half, divided
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Peanut Butter Swirl

  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream


  1. Place a freezer safe container for storing the ice cream in the freezer.
  2. In a large bowl whisk together the peanut butter, 1 cup half and half, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Add in remaining half and half and heavy cream, whisking until well mixed.
  3. Pour mixture into ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer's directions.
  4. Meanwhile make the peanut butter swirl by stirring together the peanut butter and heavy cream in a medium bowl. Set aside.
  5. Once ice cream is done churning remove container from freezer and transfer half of the ice cream into it.
  6. Place spoonfuls of the peanut butter swirl over the ice cream and top with remaining ice cream.
  7. Using a knife, held vertically, swirl it through the ice cream a few times. Cover the container and put into the freezer until frozen.
