Here is another one of those precook everything crock pot recipes, I typically do not like. But just like the last one I posted, it is so good that I do not mind so much.

Savory Sweet and Satisfying: Cheese Ground Turkey and Pepperoni Casserole

Cheesy Ground Turkey and Pepperoni Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 28 ounces spaghetti sauce with mushrooms
  • 16 ounces penne pasta
  • 3.5 ounces turkey pepperoni, sliced
  • 3 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded

Directions:

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions, cooking for a few minutes less. Drain well.
  2. In a large saucepan brown the ground turkey. Drain, if needed.
  3. Add spaghetti sauce and heat though.
  4. In a sprayed crock pot, layer 1/3 meat sauce, pasta, pepperoni, cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers 2 more times.
  5. Cover and cook on high for 1 1/2-2 hours.
