Homemade Alfredo Sauce

Homemade Alfredo Sauce: Savory Sweet and Satisfying
 
This Alfredo sauce is super easy to make and creates a delicious sauce. A sauce that is rich and creamy with such good Alfredo flavor.

This sauce will work in any recipe that calls for a jar of Alfredo sauce or you can use it with some fettuccine noodles for fettuccine Alfredo. One batch of this sauce will yield about 16 ounces.

Homemade Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese

Directions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, over medium heat, add in the butter, heavy whipping cream and cream cheese. Heat stirring often until completely melted and well combined.
  2. Stir in the minced garlic, garlic powder, Italian seasoning and black pepper. Gradually stir in the parmesan cheese.
  3. Bring the mixture to a simmer and allow to simmer for 3-5 minutes or until thickened, while stirring constantly.
