I had issues with this warp, things did not go as planned. When meal planning I bought a bunch of lettuce and tomatoes to make several recipes, but did not buy quite enough and ran out for this wrap. Also, I did not read the directions well or really at all and mixed the chicken with the sauce before putting it on the tortilla. There was way too much sauce and it make a huge mess while eating it. I will probably reduce the amount of sauce I make next time. But in spite of all that I still loved this wrap, the Fritos added a nice saltiness and delicious crunch to the wrap. I can't wait to make it again with the right amount of sauce and some lettuce and tomatoes.
Crunchy Southwest Chicken Wrap
Ingredients:
Sauce
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 3/4 cup salsa
- 1 1/2 tablespoons taco seasoning
Wrap
- 4 large tortillas, about 10-12 inches
- 1 1/3 cups shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 2 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken breasts
- 1 cup Fritos, crushed
Directions:
- In a medium bowl, stir together the sour cream, salsa and taco seasoning.
- Lay a tortilla down and spread 1 heaping tablespoon of sauce over the tortilla leaving about a 1 inch border all around.
- Sprinkle 1/3 cup lettuce, 2 tablespoons of tomato, 2 tablespoons of cheese and 1/2 cup chicken over the sauce. Crush 1/4 cup of Fritos over top.
- Roll up the tortilla tightly and repeat with the remaining tortillas.
