Samoa Latte

Samoa Latte: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

I do not know about you but Samoa's have always been my favorite Girl Scout Cookie. I do not eat them very often and can not tell you the last time I actually ate one, but they are my favorite. So when I found a recipe that used the flavors from the Samoa cookie in a latte, I knew I needed to try it.

Samoa Latte: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

Samoa Latte

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 3/4 teaspoon coconut extract
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
  • 1 tablespoon caramel sauce

Optional Toppings

  • whipped cream
  • caramel sauce
  • chocolate syrup

Directions:

  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium low heat, stirring constantly.
  2. After the mixture comes to a simmer remove from the heat and either use an immersion blender or transfer to a blender and blend until frothy.
  3. Top with whipped cream, chocolate syrup and caramel sauce if desired.
Enjoy!!!

Notes:
You can substitute coconut milk for the milk and coconut extract. So you would use 3/4 cup coconut milk and no extract.
