Strawberry Cheesecake Waffles

Strawberry Cheesecake Waffles: Savory Sweet and Satsifying

Typically I tend to make pancakes more often than waffles, but after trying these waffles I think that may change. The waffles are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Then adding the cream cheese topping and strawberries takes these waffles to the next level.

Strawberry Cheesecake Waffles

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Toppings

  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 8 ounces reduced fat cream cheese, softened
  • 2 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 16 ounce container sliced frozen strawberries in sugar, thawed

Directions:

  1. Preheat waffle iron.
  2. In a large bowl, with a hand mixer, beat the eggs until light and fluffy.
  3. Stir in the flour, milk, canola oil, sugar, baking powder and vanilla extract. Mixing just until combined.
  4. Spray preheated waffle iron with cooking spray.
  5. Pour batter into waffle iron and cook until golden brown.
  6. While the waffles are cooking, combine the cream cheese, lemon juice and sweetened condensed milk in a medium bowl, mixing until well combined.
  7. When the waffles are done top them with desired amount cream cheese topping and thawed strawberries.
Enjoy!!!

Notes:
You may need more strawberries depending on much you add to the waffles.
