Chicken Tenders

Chicken Tenders

This chicken could not be any easier to make. Mix up a marinade and let the chicken and the marinade hang out together for at least an hour or over night. When ready to cook dump the chicken and the marinade all into a skillet and cook for forty minutes. Then enjoy some extremely delicious chicken tenders.

Chicken Tenders

I am not kidding when I say this was extremely delicious chicken. The chicken was so flavorful and moist that my husband and I were hoping our girls would not finish their chicken so we could help them out with the extras.

Chicken Tenders

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 1 cup zesty Italian dressing
  • 2 teaspoons lime juice
  • 3 teaspoons honey

Directions:

  1. Place chicken into a large resealable bag.
  2. In a medium bowl combine the Italian dressing, lime juice and honey.
  3. Pour the marinade over the chicken and refrigerate for at least an hour or overnight.
  4. Pour the chicken and all of the marinade into a large skillet and cook over medium to medium low heat for 40 minutes or until the chicken is completely cooked and the marinade becomes thick and caramelized.
  5. Check on the chicken several times, about every 10 minutes, while it is cooking to make sure the marinade is not cooking and evaporating faster than the chicken is cooking.
  6. Also you will want to stir and move the chicken around so it picks up the marinade that is caramelizing on the bottom of the pan.
  7. Before removing the chicken and serving make sure to rub it around in the pan good to pick up any last bits of caramelized marinade.
Enjoy!!!
