Banana Chocolate Chip Overnight Oats

Banana Chocolate Chip Overnight Oats: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

Growing up I never could have imagined I would have quite the collection of oatmeal recipes. From stove top to baked to overnight I sometimes feel like I've made them all and there are no more possible combinations. All from someone who did not like oatmeal as a kid.

Banana Chocolate Chip Overnight Oats

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoons honey, optional
  • 1/2 banana, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. In a mason jar or other sealable container, add in the oats, milk, Greek yogurt, vanilla extract. Stir until well mixed.
  2. Add in the banana and chocolate chips and gently mix in.
  3. Seal the container and refrigerate overnight.
  4. In the morning, give the oats a quick stir before eating and add a bit more milk if oats are too thick for your taste.
Enjoy!!!

Notes:
I used dark chocolate chips.
