Peanut Butter and Honey Cereal Bars

Peanut Butter and Honey Cereal Bars: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

A quick and easy snack that is also delicious. If you need a bigger batch you can always double the recipe and use a 9x13 baking dish. Also you can change out the multigrain cheerios, for peanut butter or honey nut.

Peanut Butter and Honey Cereal Bars

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 3 cups multigrain Cheerios

Directions:

  1. Lightly spray a 9x9 or 8x8 square baking dish or line with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a large saucepan, over medium heat, add in the peanut butter and honey.
  3. Stirring constantly, heat the mixture until it just comes to a simmer, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir until well combined.
  4. Add in the cereal and stir until well coated.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and press down firmly, using a piece of parchment paper.
  6. Refrigerate for 1 hour and then cut into bars.
  7. Store leftovers in an air tight container in the refrigerator.
Enjoy!!!
