Creamy Tomato Soup

Creamy Tomato Soup: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

This soup is very similar to the canned condensed tomato soup, but better. It is still easy to make just like the canned soup, but you know exactly what is in it. No weird ingredients, additives or preservatives, just delicious creamy tomato soup.

Creamy Tomato Soup

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 2 cups milk, divided
  • 4 cups tomato juice, warmed

Directions:

  1. In a large saucepan, over medium heat, combine the flour, sugar and 1/4 cup milk, stir until smooth.
  2. Slowly add in the remaining milk, stirring constantly.
  3. Bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes or until thickened, stirring constantly.
  4. Slowly stir in warmed tomato juice.
  5. Cook and stir until well blended and heated through.
