Here is another one of those precook everything crock pot recipes, I typically do not like. But just like the last one I posted, it is so good that I do not mind so much.
Cheesy Ground Turkey and Pepperoni Casserole
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 28 ounces spaghetti sauce with mushrooms
- 16 ounces penne pasta
- 3.5 ounces turkey pepperoni, sliced
- 3 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
Directions:
- Cook pasta according to package directions, cooking for a few minutes less. Drain well.
- In a large saucepan brown the ground turkey. Drain, if needed.
- Add spaghetti sauce and heat though.
- In a sprayed crock pot, layer 1/3 meat sauce, pasta, pepperoni, cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers 2 more times.
- Cover and cook on high for 1 1/2-2 hours.
