Baked Parmesan Garlic Chicken

Baked Parmesan Garlic Chicken: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

This chicken requires marinading for several hours. As long as you remember that, then this chicken is super easy to prepare. I always seem to forget that it needs to marinate until I am ready to make dinner. One of these days I will remember, I hope.

Anyways, the chicken comes out nice and moist and super flavorful. It is also easy to double if you need to feed a bigger crowd.

Baked Parmesan Garlic Chicken

Ingredients:

Marinade

  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup fat free milk
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

Breading

  • 1 package Italian seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions:

  1. Combine marinade ingredients in either a plastic bag or a shallow dish and add chicken. If you use a shallow dish and the marinade does not cover the whole chicken breast, I would recommend turning the chicken halfway through the marinade process, to give both sides a chance to sit in the marinade.
  2. Let the chicken marinade for a few hours.
  3. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  4. Combine the cheese, spice mix and garlic powder in a shallow bowl.
  5. Remove the chicken from the marinade, coat both sides well with dry spice mixture and place into a shallow baking dish.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is completely cook.
Enjoy!!!
